Україна вже сьогодні є важливою частиною європейського простору

З нагоди Дня Європи Европейський Конгрес Українців та українські громади в державах-членах ЄС звернулися до європейських політичних лідерів і представників інституцій Євросоюзу із заявою на підтримку європейського майбутнього України.

Наголошується, що Україна вже сьогодні є важливою частиною європейського простору, адже понад десять років протистоїть російській агресії та захищає спільні для Європи цінності — свободу, демократію і верховенство права.
ЕКУ підкреслює, що європейська інтеграція України є природним продовженням її історичного й політичного вибору, а також внеском у зміцнення безпеки, стабільності та розвитку всієї Європи.
Окремо відзначено потенціал України у сферах продовольчої безпеки, цифрових технологій, інновацій та оборонних рішень. «Сильна Україна - сильніша Європа»

On the occasion of Europe Day, the European Congress of Ukrainians and Ukrainian communities in EU Member States addressed European political leaders and representatives of EU institutions with a statement in support of Ukraine’s European future.
The statement emphasizes that Ukraine is already an important part of the European space, as for more than ten years it has been resisting Russian aggression and defending the values shared by Europe; freedom, democracy, and the rule of law.
The ECU stresses that Ukraine’s European integration is a natural continuation of its historical and political choice, as well as a contribution to strengthening the security, stability, and development of Europe as a whole.
The statement also highlights Ukraine’s potential in the areas of food security, digital technologies, innovation, and defense solutions.
“A strong Ukraine means a stronger Europe.”
